One of the original layout-boat builders residing in america today is john kalash of michigan. his idea of a well-designed layout boat is one that has a crown that is not too high (like the back of a box turtle) so as to create a shadow, and one that is not too low, which, of course, would be about as seaworthy as a bathtub.. I recently began building this layout boat. the boat is the two man duck hunter model from gator boats. 14' long and 4' wide. so far its going fairly well. up to this point my plans say 2 gallons but i wand to make sure its good and sealed from the inside. any insight or suggestions are appreciated. thanks! i'll post more pictures as i make.
